My reading slump… Urgh.

Ok so I’ve finally this year started DNF-ING books. I’m sorry Lovestruck and Enchantée but I just have so many books and the slow pace just put me off.

I’ve been going through the worst reading slump lately. Everything I pick up nothing seems to interest me. I’ve tried reading the first chapter of a few books but just nothing is gripping me.

This is the list of books that I could read do you have any recommendations from my tbr pile?

– Girls of Paper and Fire

– Circe

– Sea Witch

– Toy makers

– A Darker Shade of Magic

– Throne of Glass

– Illuminae

– The Couple Next Door

– There’s someone inside your house

– What If it’s us

I really need a five star read right now that will grip me and keep me interested. I can’t do anything slow pace at the moment. I want to be gripped straight away. Any suggestions I will be so grateful. Also any tips to get through a reading slump? Xoxo

  1. I’ve not read any of your possible choices, but I have read some really positive reviews of Circe.

Happy reading and fingers crossed your next book is a 5star read.

  2. I DNF’d Circe after 200 pages. I just couldn’t do it anymore.

  3. Ugh, I’ve been in that space so many times and it SUCKS. Really hope you can get out of your slump soon! I’ve found that the only things that help me through a slump are either taking a break from reading until I’m desperate to read something, or switching it up completely and reading a new genre or listening to an audio book.
