The neverending tbr pile…

Ok so does anyone else feel completely overwhelmed sometimes by their tbr book piles!

I have so many amazing books and I want to read them all but to read 200+ which I’m sure I have now 150+ physical, 25 ebooks, and 25 books to review both online and physical copies I feel a little overwhelmed especially with the books I’ve been sent I am trying to read as many as I can as quickly as possible to do my review before the release date . I am so grateful for the books I’ve been lucky enough to have been sent and am excited to review them but my tbr pile is just overflowing at the moment. I’ve done a few unhauls. Do you have any unhaul tips? I just want to read books that really interest me and I need to be harsher at DNF-ing still. I’ve DNF-d three books so far this year and I’m proud as last year I just persevered with books I didn’t enjoy.

Below are some of the amazing books I’ve received recently in swaps or I’ve bought or been sent to review. I’m just so in love with books and buying new books are reading new books and escaping into new worlds is what keeps my heart beating and my soul alive! I’m so happy I’m addicted to books and having bookish problems isn’t the worst thing in the world!

Books I’m gonna be reading in the next month. (This may change!)

– A girl called shameless

– Step Sister

– Circe

– Enchantéé

Thanks for reading me rambling 🙂 let me know what you’re next reads are xoxo

  1. I feel your pain. At the moment I’m suffering this as well due to birthday and Christmas celebrations in December. I’m overwhelmed and every time I finish a book I don’t know where to go next

  2. I know the feeling. Sometimes I just sit in front of my bookshelf overwhelmed by all the books I haven’t read, and I try to calculate how long it would take me to read them all (basically, years). That’s not even counting ARC’s I get, or other books that come out. It’s kind of terrifying to think that the TBR will always keep growing, no matter what 😛

I fell overwhelmed too and it makes me not want to start reading. My TBR just keeps growing too. I usually read a review book then a book I’ve bought or has been out a while. Happy Reading!!

  4. READ CIRCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I know exactly how your feeling. I’ve put myself on a NetGalley and Edelweiss ban again. Also I’ve come to the conclusion that the more I stress over the amount of eARCS and review books I have the less I am enjoying them and that in turn is making me feel like I’m going into a reading slump. So, I’m just working my way through the books depending on my mood, and not on when they are coming out. My personal TBR is out of control too but hey we’ll get to them one day. Happy Reading!!!
